The co-founders of “Wajha” Social Initiative will lead participants in an exciting challenge of urban renewal through re-branding of local shops within the heart of Sharjah. The participants will examine the neighbourhood and interview the owners to get a sense of the environment and the overall ambiance of the shops’ contexts. Working in teams, the participants will then develop a logo and a visual language that best represents the shop and its owner. The implementation of the renewed brands will come to life in March and will be showcased in Design House as part of Change, Coordinates & Someone Else exhibition.
