Garden After stems from Jamal Tayara-Baroudy’s interest in the spiritual symbolism of the Abrahamic religions’ notions of Paradise, specifically the descriptions that appear in the Quran. The exhibition also draws inspiration from the history of Islamic Garden Architecture and the designer’s childhood memories.
